A soldier lost his arm in battle while saving a little girls life and made the best of it.
This soldier happens to be my cousin.

37,212 travelers visited Iceland in May
Tourism companies were worried that the Grímsvötn eruption might have a negative effect on travels to Iceland. What a crazy thought, that’s like thinking that a lot of water in Niagara Falls will reduce tourism… Anyways May was close to being a record month with 37,212 travelers. To put that in perspective, that is 0.36 travelers per square kilometer. Very useful information.
I’m proud to have been one of those 37,212 travellers! :D

This creeps me out almost as much as the frogs that give birth via their top layer of skin. *shudder*
A type of gastric brooding frog, the likely extinct Rheobatrachus vitellinus had—or has—a unique mode of reproduction: Females swallowed their eggs, raised tadpoles in their stomachs, and then gave birth to froglets through their mouths (pictured above).
Last seen in 1985, the Australian frog is one of the ten species that conservationists most hope to find during a first ever global search for lost amphibian species.

This is my second tattoo that I got yesterday. I’m starting my sleeve of things that mean a lot to me, and I got a jar of hearts because of Christina Perri’s song ‘Jar of Hearts.’ The song means a lot to me and I’ve had 3 men that have fucked me about in the past year that I had feelings for. I always turned to the song for comfort and felt like I needed a tattoo to show this. In the jar, there are 12 full hearts and a 13th, which is broken, representing me and how somebody stole my heart whilst it was still broken.
Hey Philly, thought you might like to see this! CP inspired tattoo!

(via Wikipedia)
Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, southern Iceland.
Legend says that the stacks originated when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock.

10:30pm and look at how bright it is! We are ready for our night out on the town. (Note: It never did get completely dark out… the sky turned a beautiful deep blue color, and brightened up towards the horizon)
